: Manager Software Engineering, ServiceNow Platform


Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, ServiceNow Platform is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, development, and implementation of the ServiceNow platform within the organization. This leadership role requires a understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) and the ability to effectively manage a team of ServiceNow developers and Business Analysts.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the strategic plan for the ServiceNow platform, aligning it with the organization's goals and objectives. Lead and mentor a team of ServiceNow developers, ensuring continuous growth and development. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of ITSM practices. Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the platform meets their requirements. Ensure that the ServiceNow platform adheres to organizational policies, compliance standards, and security protocols. Monitor and report on the performance and usage of the ServiceNow platform, making recommendations for enhancements. Manage relationships with ServiceNow partners and vendors to optimize support and resources. Develop and manage the budget for the ServiceNow team and projects.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 8 and maximum10 years of experience in ITSM&ITOM, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role overseeing ServiceNow platform. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, or equivalent certifications. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, architecture, and best practices. Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive process improvements. Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems effectively. Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
This role is based in a dynamic and collaborative work environment. This position will interact with various business units across the organization and report directly to the Sr Director. The position may require occasional travel and flexibility to accommodate different time zones.
