Team Customer and Industry Workflows (CIWF) Engineering Team in ServiceNow is responsible for developing Customer Service Management (CSM), Field Service Management (FSM) and Industry Vertical Products (Financial services, Healthcare, Telco etc.) using ServiceNow platform and cutting-edge technologies like Machine Learning, Agent Intelligence, chatbot, service catalog, workflow, real-time tracking of services. Role We are seeking an exceptional, passionate, and self-driven Software Engineering Manager in the rapidly growing Industry Vertical Engineering team to build highly innovative products in the Healthcare & Lifesciences Industry. Strong experience building products and solutions in the Healthcare industry domain (Provider, Payer, Life Sciences, Pharma, and/or Medical Devices). Experience in building healthcare interoperability solutions using standards such as HL7 V2, FHIR, DICOM is a plus. Be a hands-on technical manager comfortable with design, development, coding, debugging and unit testing work. Run a high-performance scrum team delivering critical new features in every release. Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to build best in class and highly scalable products. What you get to do in this role: As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible in building products in the Healthcare domain. Managing product development activities in a high paced environment. Responsible for the overall systems development life cycle for product implementation as well as custom built web applications on ServiceNow platform. Work closely with program management, product management and support/satellite teams for new features and upgrades Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments. Contribute and participate in reviews for architecture, design, and code. Exercise appropriate influence to ensure commitment to customers and deliver quality products. Manage the day-to-day activities of the development team within an Agile/Scrum environment. Management of departmental resource, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing & maintaining a best-of-class application development team. Qualifications To be successful in this role you have: 10+ years of experience with technologies relevant to ServiceNow and advanced coding skills 5+ years of experience building interoperable solutions in healthcare domain (using HL7 standards) Experience with open-source tools and agile development environments Fluency in one or more relevant programming language (Java, C++, Ruby. Shell, JavaScript) An understanding of broad concepts and experience using those concepts to understand and develop solutions for problems. Ability to execute a project based on our priorities, context, risks, and desired outcomes. It would be even better if you have: Experience with creating enterprise software in one of the application domains in which ServiceNow competes. Experience in healthcare standards such as HL7 V2, FHIR, DICOM is a plus. Experience in EHR workflows is a plus.
