As a Software Engineer you will utilize your knowledge and experience to perform systems analysis, research, maintenance, troubleshooting and other programming activities. What the Role Offers:
We're seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager with 12-15 years of total experience, including at least 2 years leading AI/ML initiatives, to drive our next generation of Generative and Agentic AI applications. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise in software architecture, hands-on experience with modern AI frameworks, and proven leadership in building high-performance engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the technical roadmap, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the successful delivery of AI-powered products that provide significant business value.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy:

• Define and execute the technical strategy for the Generative and Agentic AI engineering roadmap, aligning it with overall business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software and AI engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in AI engineering, MLOps, and secure coding across the team.
• Manage project execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Technical Execution & Development:

• Spearhead the design and development of Generative AI applications using cutting-edge models (LLMs).
• Drive the implementation and optimization of AI agent workflows that exhibit autonomous decision-making and tool-use capabilities.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance on building and deploying robust Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for knowledge-intensive tasks.
• Oversee the implementation of advanced Prompt and Context Engineering techniques to maximize model performance and reliability.
• Ensure scalability, performance, security, and reliability of all AI services in production environments.

What you need to Succeed:

• Experience: 12 to 15 years of progressive experience in software engineering and delivery, with at least 2 years focused on leading AI/ML engineering projects.
• Leadership: Proven experience managing, coaching, and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
• Core Technical Skills (Must-Have):

• Expertise with LangChain and/or LlamaIndex frameworks for composing LLM applications.
• Deep practical knowledge of designing, implementing, and optimizing RAG pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability in Prompt Engineering and managing complex context windows for LLMs.
• Strong background in software architecture and API design (Python preferred).
• AI/ML Concepts: Solid understanding of modern Generative AI models (LLMs, foundation models, Vectorization), their capabilities, and their limitations.
• Infrastructure: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related infrastructure-as-code and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
