YOUR IMPACT:
We are seeking a seasoned and technically proficient Engineering Manager to lead global software development initiatives within our R&D organization. This role integrates strategic product development leadership with end-to-end ownership of customer issue resolution and escalation management.
You will be responsible for setting technical directions, driving delivery excellence, and leading cross-functional and geographically distributed teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in system-level engineering, hands-on product development, and agile project execution, while also serving as a key escalation point for complex customer challenges.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:

• Lead product development initiatives and guide teams on technical and functional aspects.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to align sprint/release goals with business objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are well-defined, scoped, and achieved.
• Manage Current Product Engineering (CPE) activities, including troubleshooting and resolving customer issues.
• Participate in customer support calls and handle escalations with professionalism and urgency.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
• Drive Agile ceremonies: planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives.
• Provide architectural and coding-level mentorship to engineering teams.
• Identify and eliminate team impediments and risks.
• Forecast resource needs and optimize team utilization.
• Ensure timely and transparent reporting across stakeholders.
• Support team development and career progression.
• Align with internal development processes and continuously improve delivery methodologies.
• Foster innovation and contribute to organization-wide initiatives and transformation efforts.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

• BE in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven hands-on experience in product development and customer issue management.
• Strong expertise in systems-level engineering: application architecture, communications, data management, and infrastructure.
• Experience building enterprise-scale, mission-critical, highly available applications.
• Demonstrated success in managing mid-to-large-scale projects/products.
• Prior experience in product development companies working on large enterprise applications.
• Agile project management experience is essential; SAFe experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and people leadership skills.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to building Windows and Linux-based installer products.
