As the

Assistant Manager of Service Operations

, you will take full ownership of planning, prioritizing, and managing technical and operational service activities within the Mundra region. This is a pivotal leadership role focused on driving safety, profitability, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for spearheading the growth of our service business, leading a team of skilled engineers and technicians to deliver best-in-class service while expanding our regional footprint.

What are your key responsibilities:

1. Customer & Operational Excellence

Relationship Management:

Lead profitable customer partnerships through high-performance service and regular on-site engagement.

Strategic Execution:

Convert business objectives into actionable service plans that balance client needs with team growth.

Service Delivery:

Resolve operational bottlenecks and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

2. Technical Leadership & Compliance

Technical Oversight:

Provide hands-on expertise for

Material Handling/Earth Moving

equipment and optimize service procedures.

Contract & SLA Management:

Oversee service contracts (AMC/CMC) and "on-call" agreements to maximize revenue and ensure compliance.

HSEQ & Safety:

Enforce strict Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards; implement safe systems of work for all field staff.

Technical Training:

Deliver product and safety training to customers to ensure optimal equipment utilization.

3. Team Leadership & Development

Performance Coaching:

Mentor staff to achieve KPIs and reach their full potential through continuous improvement.

Culture Building:

Foster a

What you bring to the role:

Education

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, or Automotive Engineering. An equivalent combination of technical education and extensive field experience in service operations will also be considered.

Service Operations:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Service/Operations environment.

Leadership:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.

Industry Knowledge:

Strong technical understanding of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) or similar heavy machinery industries.

Leadership:

Proven ability to lead with purpose and a high focus on performance.

A business development approach to identify new service revenue streams.

Problem Solving

: Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical and operational issues.

Willingness and ability to travel within the Mundra region to support field operations
