About Department




The Career Services Office (CSO) supports students in finding suitable opportunities as they graduate from Anant. The CSO facilitates interaction between academia and industry to provide greater exposure to students and create opportunities for real-world learning through classroom projects, industry projects, internships and training. The CSO strives to help prospective employers and students find a mutual fit.

Required Education Qualification




Post-graduate in any stream. Previous experience in career services, recruitment, counselling, or a related role. A design and management background, though not mandatory, is desirable 7-8 years experience

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)




Develop and execute an annual strategy to achieve the overall objective of the Career Service Office. Manage all aspects of placements and internship recruitment on campus, including communications and outreach, handling grievances, managing external relationships, and planning and implementing orientations and workshops. Develop and deliver dynamic training programs tailored to boost students' employability skills, staying attuned to evolving industry trends and job market demands. Make strategic efforts in student mobilization, actively engaging and encouraging students to participate in placement drives and T&P programs. Cultivate and nurture relationships with external stakeholders, including companies and alumni, to expand placement opportunities and strengthen industry ties. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the CSO, implementing technology-driven solutions to streamline processes and ensure efficient functioning.

Key Skills




Ability to manage multiple partner relationships. Develop and implement all outreach and marketing activities, campaigns, and strategies. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage various tasks simultaneously. Experience of working in a design university is preferable, though not mandatory. * Proven experience in training delivery or related fields, with a keen ability to connect with students and motivate them towards career success.
