The Senior Manager - ESG will be responsible for leading the development of new revenue streams and driving innovative ESG practices within the organization. This role demands strategic oversight of global ESG initiatives, and the creation of frameworks tailored for international markets. The Senior Manager will not only manage large-scale ESG reporting projects but will also explore new opportunities for ESG service offerings, enhancing the company's market presence and compliance with international standards.



Key Responsibilities

Lead and Develop New ESG Revenue Streams:

Identify and implement strategies for developing new ESG-related services that generate revenue, focusing on international markets.

Drive ESG Innovation:

Foster an environment of innovation to develop cutting-edge ESG practices and solutions that differentiate the company in the global market.

Manage and Expand International ESG Projects:

Oversee complex ESG projects across various countries, ensuring alignment with global standards and regional specifics.

Senior Stakeholder Engagement:

Engage with senior internal and external stakeholders to promote and integrate sustainable practices at all levels of business operations.

Advanced Materiality Assessments:

Conduct and supervise comprehensive materiality assessments with a focus on international standards and practices.

Leadership and Team Development:

Lead, mentor, and expand the ESG team, focusing on skill development and professional growth to meet global challenges.

Research and Compliance:

Ensure adherence to international ESG reporting standards (e.g., GRI, IFRS, CSRD) and stay ahead of emerging frameworks and regulations affecting global operations.

Strategic Advisory:

Provide expert ESG consultancy to top-tier clients, guiding them through complex regulatory environments and enhancing their ESG performance on a global scale.



Candidate Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in ESG, with a proven track record in leadership roles and project management.

Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field, or a professional qualification such as CA/CS/MBA from tier 1 institutes with significant ESG-focused experience.

Expertise in frameworks like GRI, IFRS, CSRD, and knowledge of regional compliance requirements.

Demonstrated ability to drive innovation in ESG practices and develop new business solutions.

Experience in leading diverse teams and managing projects internationally.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging and influencing various stakeholders.

Previous consulting experience will be preferred
