The Controller will oversee all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and compliance,
ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information across multiple business units. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong knowledge of apparel/fashion industry
operations -- including inventory, costing, and intercompany accounting -- as well as fluency with ERP and PLM systems.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience with
Momentis, WFX, Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics GP)
, and
Power BI
, along with a track record of driving process improvements,
managing audits, and building efficient, scalable accounting frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the accounting team and manage all aspects of financial operations, including GL, AR/AP, inventory, payroll, and consolidations.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with
U.S. GAAP
.
Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation.
Partner with senior management to drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting processes.
Manage external audits and coordinate with tax and compliance advisors.
Oversee ERP and reporting systems -- optimizing workflows and integrations with Momentis, WFX, and Great Plains.
Develop financial dashboards and analytics using
Power BI
to enhance decision-making and operational visibility.
Support cross-functional initiatives related to automation, inventory valuation, and system implementations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
CPA preferred

8 + years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 3 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller capacity.
