Lead a dynamic team of Security professionals as part of the Global Security Group.

Planning and implementing security programs of FedEx management, employee groups & customers
Implementing loss prevention programs for conducting investigations into theft, pilferage and other acts against the Corporation, its customers, employees and assets
Maintaining and updating a crisis management program for all senior members of the Corporation
Establishing and maintaining liaison with the various law enforcement agencies to ensure prompt and adequate responses to FedEx and other government bodies, security investigations.
To provide matrix support to all levels of management, including professional advice on all security matters.
To ensure compliance with Regional Aviation Security legislation.
KEY RESULT AREAS/ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible for Security Technology, Aviation Security and Security Operations activities at company facilities in conformity with country specific Aviation Security regulatory directives and FedEx standards; Security systems procurement, maintenance and disposal; Support gateway project implementation in the region; Local gateway security support for regional gateways and hubs in the region; Preparation and implementation of aviation security programs; Security Guarding & Monitoring; Loss Prevention; Enforcement & Investigations; Security Customer Management; Contracts & Management; Responsible for overseeing and managing aviation security operations at existing and upcoming regional gateways; To provide support to ensure compliance and consistency with security policies and procedures; Employee and Team administrative activities including hiring, Conduct effective performance reviews, implementation of training/ development initiatives and consistent application of company policy; Contribute to the review of standard operating procedures, contracts and other relevant documents; Conduct security planning; Co-ordinate security assessments of facilities and businesses for the organization; Contribute to the development of security plans including the ground protection plan as related to gateway facilities and Regulated Agent sites; Support the coordination of regulatory inspections and audits; Coordinate with internal departments, airport authorities, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration; Respond to emergencies and incidents following the agreed procedures; Maintain effective liaison with Aviation security regulator, law enforcing agencies, airport operator and other internal and external stakeholders; Assist in functional budgets, cost control and support business development and network improvement plans.
