NMDPL: Navbharat Mega Developers Pvt. Ltd. (NMDPL) is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) formed through a joint venture between the Government of Maharashtra and the Adani Group. It leads the Dharavi Redevelopment Project, aiming to transform one of Asia's largest informal settlements into a modern urban hub with sustainable housing, infrastructure, and economic opportunities.
Job Purpose: The role is responsible for leading on-site security operations, ensuring 24/7 monitoring, and maintaining vigilance across all security protocols. This role involves developing and guiding the site team in daily security activities, driving operational efficiency, and supporting organizational security objectives.
Responsibilities:
Security Operations Manager
Strategic Input and Operational Planning:
Provide operational insights aligned with site and business strategic objectives.
Contribute to designing SOPs and the site's operating model to enhance security processes.
Suggest improvements in operations, collaborating with the Process Centre of Excellence.
Operations Supervision and Review:
Oversee end-to-end security operations, ensuring compliance with SOPs.
Guide the team on exception management, reporting critical issues to the Site Security Head.
Submit performance reports periodically as per established guidelines.
Assist in conducting security awareness programs across the site.
Patrolling and Surveillance:
Conduct routine CCTV patrols, logging observations in the daily occurrence log.
Monitor data from CCTVs, sensors, and automation equipment to ensure continuous surveillance.
Verify timely functionality of critical alarms.
Prevent unauthorized access through controlled areas.
Access Control and Business Traffic Management:
Supervise entry/exit point monitoring, ensuring adherence to access protocols.
Oversee issuance and deactivation of access cards for visitors, VIPs, and government officials.
Manage traffic control, ensuring authorization for vehicles and adherence to GPS/RFID tagging protocols.
Ensure traffic rules are followed and gates are consistently manned for search and inquiries.
Incident Management:
Serve as the initial responder to emergencies, following established response plans.
Participate in Quick Response Team (QRT) activities as needed.
Provide insights for updating incident response plans based on past experiences.
Partner Engagement:
Work with the Site Security Head to manage interactions and evaluate partner performance.
Foster strategic relationships with partners to enhance operational effectiveness.

Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations, or a relevant field.
Preferred certifications. Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) certification, Physical Security Professional (PSP), or other industrial security certifications.
Work Experience (Range of years):
6+ years
Preferred Industry:
Experience, including 4 years in a security operations leadership role at mid- to large-sized organizations, with expertise in SOP design for access control, surveillance, and traffic management. Proven ability to lead security teams and manage systems, with strong stakeholder management skills; experience in diversified business environments is preferred.
