- Develop and execute effective Search engine optimization strategies
- Managing onsite and offsite optimization
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
- Work closely with IT teams for implementing SEO recommendations
- Keyword research and expansion for targeting on website content
- Monitor keyword ranking and organic traffic
- Responsible for organic traffic conversions (Conversion rate optimization)
- Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
- Optimize website content, landing pages and paid search copies
- Develop and implement link building strategy
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Web Trends, Search console)
- Regular Web analytics reporting and driving actionable inferences in order to improve website performance
- Liaison with designers, programmers & content writers to implement modifications across website
- Develop content strategy (both short and long term along with editorial calendar) for website and maintain brand consistency
- Close coordination and liaison with overall Communications team member
- Optimize content according to SEO
- Manage content distribution to all digital channels & track efficacy
- Coordinate with SEO agencies
- Competition benchmarking
- Stay up to date with all latest updates & trends in SEO
Skills & Experience:
- Education: BBM/MBA Marketing /PGDM Marketing
- Candidate having exposure to E-commerce background will be preferred however it is not mandatory.
- Proven hands-on experience in SEO
- Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude and the ability to co-ordinate across functions especially IT and content and brand teams
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g., keyword planner, Screaming Frog, MOZ) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Web Trends, Adobe analytics)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
