Description

Role title: SAP Basis HANA
Location: Pune
Experience: 4+ yrs

Role purpose: The Current incumbent will be responsible for the following

• Lead and guide the team to achieve their goals.
• Motivate the team to work on full potential, provide technical guidance
• End 2 end responsibility of SAP Basis service deliverables.
• Coordination and communication with SO and other stakeholders
• Integration of SAP HANA into different remote systems. Exposure to different remote access options in HANA system.
• Experience in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP HANA systems.
• HANA system administration using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio.
• Experience in managing users and roles in SAP HANA system.
• Implementing SAP HANA Table management techniques - data compression, table partition, compression techniques, and load/unload table into memory.
• HANA Installation, Data Provisioning, Admin, Modelling.
• SAP BusinessObjects and HANA integration, Design document, RFPs, and estimation plans.

Job Responsibility

4+ years\' experience in SAP or related field & 3 years\' experience with HANA and Oracle

• Expert in handling oracle database, upgrades and daily administration
• Demonstrated ability with these skills: SAP HANA installation and HANA system migration, SAP systems, in memory database technology as well as hardware, SAP administration, Database Administration (DBA), cloud experience and Linux knowledge
• Knowledge on any SAP New Dimension products like Portal, ECC, PI & Solution Manager
• Good experience as DBA on Unix/DB2
• Willing to work in 24 7 environments & customer focused
• Fluent in the English language (verbal and written)
• Candidate must have good communicative skills
• Should be able to maintain the systems at optimal performance, availability and efficiency for migration of SAP landscape from DB2 to SAP HANA In- memory databases.
• Working experience in UNIX/Linux (SUSE/RHEL), Virtualization Platforms (GCP, Azure, Alicloud, etc.,), Storage, and Networks.
• Analytical, detailed and observative with strong skills in root cause analysis and troubleshooting
• Deep knowledge of Software logistics, Upgrades, performance & optimization.
• Vast experience in SAP HANA Operations, Administration, and performance tuning for SAP applications ERP/BW on HANA, S4HANA.
• E-2-E analysis expertise on HANA performance KPIs, memory, CPU, and IO bottlenecks.
• Deep SQL statement analysis and query tuning expertise on SAP HANA. We should be able to analyze and tune expensive statements in HANA single-handedly.
