We are looking for a technically qualified
Manager
Sales Support to head
entire sales support functionwith a background in
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
to support our pan-India sales operations. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital link between the sales team, production unit, and end customers by providing technical pre- and post-sales support, ensuring smooth execution of bulk kitchen equipment projects in large-scale institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Sales Support:
Assist the sales team in understanding customer requirements and proposing suitable kitchen equipment solutions.
Provide technical inputs for tender documents, proposals, layout drawings, and quotations.
Support in product demonstrations, technical clarifications, and pre-sales client discussions.
Customer Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer queries post-sales, including order tracking, installation coordination, and commissioning.
Liaise between customers, production, logistics, and field engineers to ensure timely delivery and project completion.
Documentation & CRM:
Maintain up-to-date records of enquiries, quotations, orders, and customer interactions in CRM or ERP systems.
Generate technical reports, performance summaries, and sales dashboards as required.
Product Knowledge:
Develop in-depth technical understanding of bulk cooking equipment such as boilers, tilting pans, steam cooking systems, trolleys, hot plates, etc.
Stay updated on product innovations and contribute feedback to R&D and design teams.
Project Support:
Support institutional customers during project execution including site visits for technical assessments, utility readiness, and layout validation.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (OR) MBA Sales & Marketing
8-12 years of experience in a technical support or sales support role, preferably in OEM manufacturing or capital equipment (industrial kitchen, HVAC, process equipment, etc.).
Familiarity with institutional or B2B sales cycles and government/corporate tender processes.
Key Skills:
Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and CRM tools.
Ability to coordinate across departments (sales, design, production, service).
Willingness to travel occasionally for client visits or project support as needed.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with products related to commercial kitchens, food processing, boilers, or industrial-grade equipment and B2B OEMs.
Exposure to large institutional clients like hospitals, defense kitchens, government canteens, or corporate cafeterias.
