Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-oriented Deputy Manager / Manager - Sales & Marketing with solid functional experience in industrial sales. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of meeting sales targets, conducting cold calls, participating in technical discussions, and leading negotiations--both in India and overseas.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Identify new projects and potential customers through regular field visits and cold calls.
Generate RFQs (both budgetary and firm) and ensure timely submission of accurate quotations.
Prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals, including product selection, costing, and pricing, in coordination with internal departments.
Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets consistently across assigned territories.
Maintain foresight to identify alternative opportunities in case of project delays.
Make effective customer visits in India and abroad, demonstrating strong product knowledge and customer engagement skills.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the business.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong mechanical engineering background with hands-on field sales experience.
Persuasive communicator and a strong team player with leadership potential.
Proficiency in technical discussions and commercial negotiations.
Experience with DISC or Thomas Profiling is an added advantage.
