The Sales Manager - ISO Tank Business is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue and market share growth for Legend Logistics' ISO Tank (Bulk Liquid) services within the NVOCC framework. This role requires a specialist focus on the technical, operational, and commercial aspects of ISO tank logistics, targeting chemical, petrochemical and other bulk liquid shippers.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
I. Business Development & Sales Strategy
Develop, implement, and manage a strategic business plan specifically for the ISO Tank NVOCC segment to achieve annual sales and GP (Gross Profit) targets.
Proactively identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities for ISO Tank shipments (both domestic and international) by targeting key chemical manufacturers, traders, and bulk liquid shippers.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and pricing strategies in the bulk liquid logistics space.
Sell the company's full range of ISO Tank services, including port-to-port, door-to-door, and end-to-end supply chain solutions.
Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with both new and existing key accounts, focusing on decision-makers in supply chain, procurement, and logistics.
Act as the primary point of contact for ISO Tank customers, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and quick resolution of service issues or complaints.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, tenders, and presentations that clearly articulate the value proposition of Legend Logistics' ISO Tank services.
Liaise closely with the Pricing and Operations teams to ensure competitive and accurate quotations, covering freight, handling, cleaning, and technical specifications of the tank units.
Monitor service delivery to ensure seamless execution, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination with overseas agents and depots.
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasting future revenue and volume to the General Manager.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum
5-7 years
of successful sales experience in the logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding industry.
Essential:
At least
3 years
of direct sales experience in the
ISO Tank Container Business
.
Proven track record in selling NVOCC or international freight services is highly desirable.
Established network and strong business relationships within the Indian chemical, petrochemical, or related bulk liquid industry.
