Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Manager - Sales to lead and grow our logistics and freight forwarding business in the Delhi region. The role involves acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, achieving revenue targets, and expanding market presence across air, sea, and road logistics services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets
Generate new business for Air Freight, Sea Freight (FCL/LCL), Road Transportation, Warehousing, and Customs Clearance
Identify and onboard new corporate clients, exporters, importers, and supply chain partners
Manage and grow relationships with key accounts and strategic customers
Lead, mentor, and guide the sales team to improve performance and productivity
Prepare and negotiate quotations, contracts, and rate agreements
Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements
Prepare MIS reports, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates for management
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (MBA preferred)
6-10 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding / logistics / shipping
Strong knowledge of international trade, Incoterms, and logistics processes
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Proven ability to manage large accounts and close high-value deals
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office
