- Sales Executive / Sales Manager (Construction & Product Sales)Position OverviewWe are looking for a results-driven Sales professional to handle both construction project sales and product sales (including imports from China). The candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth by building client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and managing end-to-end sales activities.Key Responsibilities- Construction Sales- Identify and secure new construction projects.- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and developers.- Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts.- Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth project execution.- Product Sales & Import Management- Manage product sales, including building materials, equipment, and related items.- Source products from China and other international markets.- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and customs agents for smooth import operations.- Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms with overseas suppliers.- Maintain product catalog, pricing, and inventory updates.- General Sales & Business Development- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and competitive trends.- Maintain accurate sales records and generate performance reports.- Represent the company in exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events.Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related field.- 8-10 years of sales experience in construction, building materials, or international product trade.- Experience in import/export processes, especially with China.- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships.- Knowledge of procurement, logistics, and documentation for imports.- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic import/export documentation software.- Willingness to travel for client meetings and supplier visits (domestic & international).Key Competencies- Result-oriented with strong business acumen.- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.- Knowledge of international trade practices.- Strategic thinking and problem-solving.- Ability to multitask and manage both project and product sales.LocationChennai (ref:updazz.com)
