Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Assist in the formulation and enhancement of HSE systems to align with OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standards. Ensure the systems meet statutory requirements and client expectations Aid in executing the HSE strategy for the project. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with workplace activities Ensure adherence to statutory and client safety regulations. Conduct safety inspections and audits regularly. Investigate accidents/incidents and perform root cause analysis. Develop corrective measures and preventive actions. Educate employees on SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) guidelines through regular training sessions. Foster a culture of safety, ensuring employees follow SHE rules and actively report unsafe observations, conditions, and near misses. Collaborate with the team to meet sustainability targets, including reductions in energy consumption, water usage, and waste generation Ensure strict adherence to PTW guidelines for all maintenance and production activities requiring permits. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for all processes and systems in collaboration with the team. Ensure proper implementation of the Management of Change (MoC) process for all modifications Prepare and update Safety Operating Procedures (SOPs). Identify potential hazards and establish preventive measures. Maintain accurate records and documentation for safety operations and procedures. Calculate, analyze, and report statistics related to safety performance parameters.

Degree from Technical Labour Institutes core in safety procedures & practices.

Educational background in Engineering/Environmental Sciences or equivalent

Certification in OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, or related HSE standards.

7-15 Years

Critical Experience

Previous Experience in managing safety process & compliances of a manufacturing or factory setup

Should be able to read, write & speak Marathi
