As a key player in our safety management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety across all road construction projects. Your role will involve developing and implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will work closely with project managers and site personnel to foster a culture of safety and ensure all activities are conducted safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction safety management, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing safety programs in a civil engineering environment. Tasks

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for road construction projects.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on construction sites to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide training and support to construction teams on safety practices and emergency response protocols.
• Investigate accidents or incidents on site to determine causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and any stream.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in safety management within the highway, and bridge & Tunnel construction industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and standards applicable to road construction projects.
• Proven ability to lead safety training programs and conduct safety audits on construction sites.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage and promote a culture of safety among project teams.
