We are hiring a results-driven Procurement Manager to lead a focused P2P team supporting a US-based client in the Semiconductor industry. The manager will oversee a team of approximately 5 team members, primarily responsible for Purchase Request (PR) preparation and Purchase Order (PO) management as part of the broader procurement operations. This is a client-facing role requiring hands-on management of daily operations, SLA compliance, team performance, process improvements, and active participation in Oracle ERP transformation, including UAT and SIT from Day 1.
Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end Purchase Request creation, validation, and submission as per client procurement guidelines.*
Manage Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle, including creation, amendments, follow-ups, and closure in the ERP system.*
Ensure high-quality, timely, and compliant execution of tasks assigned to the team.*
Lead a team of ~5 Procurement professionals, providing guidance, performance feedback, and support on daily operations.*
Drive productivity, adherence to standard processes, and accuracy in deliverables.*
Act as the primary interface with the client for PR and PO-related matters.*
Conduct regular operational reviews and governance meetings.*
Ensure proactive communication, issue resolution, and client satisfaction.*
Ensure adherence to defined SLAs, KPIs, and quality benchmarks.*
Monitor daily task execution and escalate exceptions or delays as needed.*
Maintain dashboards, MIS reports, and performance trackers for internal and client consumption.*
Identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and optimization in PR and PO processes.*
Implement best practices and contribute to the development of SOPs and training documentation.*
Support client's Oracle ERP implementation from Day 1, participating in:*
o User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
o System Integration Testing (SIT)
o Business readiness, data validation, and knowledge transfer activities.
Coordinate with internal and client teams to ensure successful migration and go-live.*
We seek qualifications in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.*
Relevant years of experience in P2P or procurement operations, with at least 2 years in a team leadership or managerial role.*
Hands-on experience in Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order management.*
Prior exposure to Oracle ERP (EBS, Fusion, or Cloud) is a must; ERP implementation experience is highly desirable.*
Proven experience managing client communication and SLAs in a shared service or BPO setup.*
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.*
Certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or CSCP are an advantage.*
Excellent organizational and creative problem-solving skills.*
Demonstrated resourcefulness with critical attention to details.*
Experience working with US-based clients, preferably in Semiconductor or Manufacturing sectors.*
Knowledge of procurement tools such as Coupa, Ariba, or SAP (if relevant).*
Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.*
Exposure to Lean/Kaizen methodologies or process transformation initiatives*
