Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives to maximize revenue and profitability for the assigned store.
Drive aggressive sales growth across all product categories.
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges, adjusting strategies accordingly.
Set individual and team sales targets and ensure their consistent achievement.
Sales Team Leadership & Performance:
Manage, guide, and support a high-performing sales team, ensuring they're equipped to meet and exceed targets.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for skill development.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and target-driven work environment.
Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and sales best practices.
Conduct and drive store Audit as per norms.
Customer Relationship Management:
Oversee the development and maintenance of strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, including walk-in clients, designers, and corporate accounts.
Ensure a superior customer experience, from product inquiry to post-sales support.
Address customer feedback and resolve escalated issues efficiently and effectively.
Ensure store ambience is maintained in line with the stipulated guidelines & Retail Standard.
Finance:
Ensure the store achieves its Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets and implement strategies to increase sales.
Responsible for the overall budget & strategy for the store.
Control shrinkage within specified norms.
Reporting:
Prepare and present periodic MIS reports to management.
Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Business Administration, Marketing
, or a related field.
MBA in Marketing
is a plus.
7-10 years of progressive sales experience
, with
at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role
, preferably within the large-format retail.
Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of retail sales operations, merchandising principles, and inventory management.
Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by retail operations.
