We are inviting applications for the role of Manager, Record to Report - Tax
In this role, We seek for an accounting graduate with prior experience. You should have good knowledge of Tax.
Responsibilities:
Support in preparing book-tax difference supporting work papers in compliance with certain Customer Compliance Directives (as defined in the MSA) that are federal ("Federal") income tax laws and regulations for the quarterly and annual tax provision*
Participate in the complete process of preparing the U.S. Federal income tax return, including assisting in completing applicable Federal income tax return forms, statements, and elections*
Support in preparing and analyzing Federal book-tax difference calculations, including the reconciliation of book and tax basis balances to the inventory of deferred taxes*
Participate in each U.S. State ("State") income tax compliance process by supporting in preparing a complete State income tax return, including preparing related work papers that support the amounts on the State income tax return.*
Support in gathering and preparing State apportionment data in compliance with certain Customer Compliance Directives that are State apportionment rules for all States in which client files returns. Assisting with Federal, State, and local income tax examinations and notice responses by gathering relevant supporting documentation and preparing communication for taxing authorities electronically. Occasionally, the Supplier will be responsible for interaction and liaison with Governmental Authorities*
Assist in preparing foreign bank account reporting*
Perform "Blackline" account reconciliations for all income tax balance sheet accounts.*
Assist client with preparation of Alteryx workflows to automate certain income tax processes, as requested by client*
Assist client in preparing monthly income tax cash tax reconciliation and prepare summary for client management review*
Assist client with Federal, State, and local income and franchise tax cash tax payment calculations by preparing calculation work papers, support preparing wire sheets for approvals, and documenting payments made*
Resource shall retain learnings communicated during onboarding, training and coaching sessions and consistently apply learnings to the assigned work.*
Resource shall assist with training, coaching sessions and onboarding other Supplier Resources as requested by client*
m. Resource shall support to improve client SOPs, manuals, and training as identified during Resource's work*
Resource shall prepare any requested tax returns using customer provided tax returns software for all US states and shall prepare the necessary calculations in accordance with client instructions where client has notified such returns are ready for preparation and filing. The client shall conduct final reviews and retains responsibility for submitting the filings to the relevant taxing authority*
Respond to Internal and External Queries from Stakeholders, Tax Authorities, Vendors, Customers, AR team, AP Team*
Prepare required Adjustments on Tax Accruals and Returns*
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
B. Com + CA Inter / B. Com + ICWA Inter / M. Com / MBA Finance + B.Com / Qualified CA / CMA*
Good exposure in Indirect Tax Accounting domain with relevant Tax Accounting experience for qualified CA / CMA) Direct Tax, Tax Accounting, Book Closing, Reporting and Reconciliation primarily for US region*
Very good written and verbal / oral communication skills*
Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in MS excel*
Excellent Interpersonal skills, Problem solving skills and Analytical reasoning ability*
Flexibility to quickly shift priorities, multi-task and prioritize simultaneous requirements in fast paced environment and balance all to completion*
Ability to handle client / Internal Stakeholders / External discussions*
Preferred qualifications
Macros / VBA an added advantage*
Sales and use tax experience*
