About LTCRTC L&T Construction Research and Testing Centre (LTCRTC) is an integral part of the L&T construction, rendering its technical services to business units of various Strategic Business Groups of L&T Construction. The technical services include testing of various construction materials, establishment of new testing facilities as per project requirements, providing value added solutions to critical issues and working on R&D projects aligned to the strategic vision of business units. LTCRTC is accredited by NABL since 2006 for its testing services and DSIR recognized in-house R&D centre. The testing facilities are established to meet international standards and vouched by many experts across the globe. LTCRTC is actively involved in various codal committees and professional bodies, publishing technical papers in reputed journals, obtaining copyrights and patents for its innovative solutions. Qualification: Ph.D., in Structures from any recognized university with a total experience of 8 to 10 years in R&D with minimum industrial experience of 3 years. Should have published a minimum of five technical papers in the reputed international journals. Desired skillsets: Thorough understanding on the fundamentals of structural mechanics, principles of analysis and design of concrete and steel structures. Working knowledge on the modeling and analysis of a structural design software. Demonstrated experience in handling various R&D and consultancy works either as freelancer or through any organization. Demonstrated skills in establishing experimental setup and conducting static/pseudo cyclic testing on structural elements. Shall be able to understand test requirements of customer and take lead to establish the desired test setup, conducting test and submission of test reports as per established standards. Shall have networking skills to liaison with premier research and academic institutions to collaborate on testing and R&D works of interest. Should be a good team player, self-driven and interact with multi-disciplinary engineering team. Possessing good strategic thinking, empowering subordinates, and stake holder management skills. Key responsibilities To work on strategic R&D projects aligned to the business interest and strive to implement the same in real time projects in coordination with business units. To understand, analyze and provide structural engineering solutions to design problems with value addition. To take prime responsibility for the maintenance of documentation system required as per NABL system for testing services. Shall liaison with project sites and work hand in hand on any site-specific requirements from time to time. Indigenous development of new product / process to achieve improved quality / productivity than traditional practices. To liaison with academic / R&D institutions to drive R&D projects of business interest. Periodical publication of technical papers in the reputed national and international journals. To support and guide junior engineers for mutual and organizational growth.
