For more information, click here .Role reports to: Director, R&D AnalyticalLocation: MumbaiTravel %: 10What you will doThe Manager, Analytical Specifications will be accountable for the technical implementation of global and regional Analytical test specification requirements and Analytical test methods in compliance with regulatory and industry standards. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Pharmacopoeial and Industry requirements and will have strong communication skills to partner with business partners to implement changes.Key Responsibilities

  • Subject matter expert in Analytical requirements for global and regional Finished Products Specifications and Test Methods per the current regulatory and industry standards, and internal requirements, to support both new and existing products
  • Experience in designing and optimizing processes to create, revise, maintain and manage Finished Product Specifications and Finished Product and Raw Material test methods
  • Responsible for providing technical assessments of Finished Products Specifications and Finished Product and Raw Material Test Methods used at Internal and External Manufacturing sites to ensure alignment to current compendia, industry standards, product registrations, and internal procedures
  • Lead and oversee the development and implementation of analytical specifications for chemical controls to ensure efficiency, consistency, and standardization of working practices
  • Collaborates with business partners (Internal/External Manufacturing Sites, Regulatory, Source Quality, Business Quality, Products team) to gather vital information to process the specification requests
What we are looking forRequired Qualifications
  • Minimum Masters in Chemistry or related field with minimum 10 years of experience; Masters in Chemistry or related field with 8 years of work experience preferred in a consumer health or pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience with change control processes and providing technical assessments and documentation to support changes for Finished Products Specifications, Raw Material, and/or Test Methods used at Internal and External Manufacturing sites
  • Strong and effective communication skills across different layers of the organization, as this role requires consistent, frequent collaborations with global sites and outsourced technical writers, through virtual meetings and email correspondences
  • Strong knowledge in current compendia, industry standards, product registrations
  • Experience in managing analytical projects to meet business objectives
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Analytical quantitative and qualitative techniques applied to finished products and raw materials
  • Experience supporting the launch and post-launch support for multiple consumer health product dosage forms (e.g. cosmetics, oral/ topical drugs, engineered products, medical devices, nutritional supplements)
  • Have strategic and operational skills to prioritize and complete projects based on business and compliance needs
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex data insights
