Person Specification A bachelor's degree in Civil with 8-10 years experience in Quantity Surveying of Construction Industry. Experience in heading the QS division shall be an added advantage .
KSA's (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in cost management, contract negotiation, budgeting, and financial forecasting.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills are crucial.

Software:

Familiarity with software like ERP,MS Excel and potentially AutoCAD is often required.

JOB ROLE

Cost Management:

Oversee all financial aspects of construction projects, including preparing cost estimates, developing budgets, and controlling expenses to keep the project within budget.

Contract Management:

Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts to protect the company's interests while maintaining good relationships with stakeholders.

Financial Forecasting and Reporting:

Conduct cost forecasting, prepare financial reports, manage cash flow, and ensure timely payment applications and vendor bills.

Risk and Value Management:

Perform risk assessments to mitigate financial risks and ensure the project delivers value for money.

Coordination:

Work with architects, engineers, and other project teams to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to project standards.

Site Visits:

Travel to construction sites to monitor progress, check materials ,bills and measurements.

Dispute Resolution:

Assist in resolving financial discrepancies or disputes that may arise between parties on a project.
