Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS to ensure compliance with ISO and customer-specific requirements.
Lead internal and external audits (ISO, customer audits, supplier audits).
Ensure documentation, procedures, SOPs, and quality manuals are up to date.
Coordinate with cross?functional teams to close non?conformances and implement corrective actions.
B. Management Representative (MR) Responsibilities
Act as the official interface between the organization and certification bodies.
Organize and lead Management Review Meetings (MRM).
Ensure QMS performance monitoring and submission of periodic reports to top management.
Drive QMS awareness and training across the organization.
C. Quality Assurance & Control
Oversee incoming, in-process, and final quality inspection activities.
Ensure calibration of measuring and monitoring instruments.
Implement statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, MSA, PPAP, APQP (especially for automotive sector).
Monitor product quality KPIs such as rejection rate, customer complaints, rework, scrap, etc.
D. Customer Quality Management
Attend and resolve customer complaints using RCA tools (8D, Fishbone, 5 Why).
Coordinate with customers for quality concerns, audits, and new product approvals.
Maintain excellent communication with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or key clients.
E. Supplier Quality Management
Monitor supplier performance and quality metrics.
Conduct supplier audits and drive supplier improvement plans.
Approve new suppliers from a quality standpoint.
F. Continuous Improvement
Implement Lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, Poka?Yoke, and Six Sigma.
Propose and implement process improvements to enhance quality and reduce defects.
Lead cross-functional teams to drive CI projects.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / AS9100/ISO 14001 standards.
Hands-on experience in QMS implementation and audit handling.
Expertise in quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering drawing interpretation.
Strong understanding of root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.

4. Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering (preferred).
Certifications in ISO Lead Auditor / Six Sigma / Lean will be an added advantage.
5. Experience
8-15 years
of overall experience in quality functions in a manufacturing setup.
Minimum
3-5 years
in a managerial or supervisory role.
Experience in automotive, engineering, electronics, plastics, or metal manufacturing (as applicable).
