Manager QS (High Rise Building)

Summary




We are seeking an experienced Manager Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management and commercial aspects of a high-rise building project. The Manager QS will be responsible for preparing and managing budgets, cost planning, procurement, and contract administration. This role involves conducting cost estimates, value engineering, and risk analysis to ensure project financial objectives are met. The Manager QS will coordinate closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to control costs, manage variations, and ensure timely payment processes. Strong leadership and negotiation skills are essential to optimize project profitability while maintaining compliance with industry standards and contractual obligations.



About the Role



Quantity take off from drawings Prepare BOQ for all disciplines Prepare cost plan and assist Client in obtaining approval Render support for preparation of project budget. Cost estimate for every stage of Design & Construction Pre-qualify vendors for every aspect/package of work Prepare Tender documents and conditions such as GCC/SCC, etc. Run Tender process and on-board vendors. Arrange kick-off meeting and formally handover vendor/package to construction team Contract and monitor other commercial aspects of the contract like invoicing, cost monitoring extending necessary inputs towards preparation of various bank guarantees and insurance policies. Conduct detailed checking of measurement, analysis of rates and quantities Review & Verify Contractors Bill and Variation. Project cost control & records. Track budget and prepare monthly cash flow statements.

Communication:



Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

inancial Knowledge:



Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
