Wealth Management Technology





Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.

Global Banking & Operations Technology (GBOT) is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm\'s WM Technology Division. We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing cash management and lending products and services to our WM clients. GBOT offers technology solutions for bank\'s Investment Portfolio, a multi-billion fixed income trading desk dealing across multitude of asset classes. Position Description
The ideal candidate will perform software quality assurance testing across banking product domains and is proficient with various automation tools and techniques. The individual should be experienced with functional testing, possess good automation testing skills, and take ownership of items independently while tracking to closure. The candidate will liaise with global teams to understand requirements, create test cases (e.g., unit, component, multi-component), as well as automate and deliver projects. The position requires attention to detail, coupled with ownership, to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications.
Job Responsibilities


  • Write test scripts from user requirements, execute the scripts and communicate results to team participants.
    Define, develop and run automated test scripts
    Evaluate and document business case for enterprise improvement initiatives.
    Utilize analytical and problem-solving abilities
    Follow project schedules and juggle tasks and priorities to meet rapidly changing deadlines
    Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of proven work experience in quality assurance.
    5+ years of hand-on working experience with automated testing tools (e.g., TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, JMeter)
    Knowledge of quality methodology and testing practices, tools and metrics
    Practiced understanding of Agile development methodologies and tools (JIRA, XRay and Confluence)
    Highly self-motivated, with the ability to complete tasks with minimal guidance, and to learn independently
    Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
    Logical aptitude to understand interactions/workings of systems
    Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills in working in a cross-functional team comprised of Product Analysts, QA, UAT, Development and PMO members

  • Working knowledge of kafka & cloud-based application architecture and principles.
    Prior experience working in the Financial Services Industry

  • Minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
