Job Description

Job Summary

The Purchase Manager will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing home and kitchen appliances, spare parts, and related products for the store. This role ensures that the right products are available at the right time, at the best quality and price, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and optimizing stock levels to meet customer demand.

Key Responsibilities



1. Procurement & Sourcing



Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for home appliances, electronics, and related goods. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, discounts, and delivery schedules to maximize profitability. Ensure compliance with quality, warranty, and after-sales service agreements. Keep up to date with new models, features, and technology trends in appliances.

2. Inventory & Stock Management



Maintain optimal stock levels for high-demand and seasonal products. Monitor sales trends to forecast purchase requirements. Coordinate with the sales team to understand customer preferences and demand patterns. Manage slow-moving and obsolete stock through promotional strategies.

3. Supplier Relationship Management



Build and maintain long-term relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers. Resolve supplier disputes or delivery issues promptly. Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations.

4. Budgeting & Cost Control



Prepare and manage the annual purchasing budget. Control procurement expenses and seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

5. Documentation & Compliance



Oversee purchase orders, contracts, and agreements. Ensure all purchasing activities follow company policies and legal regulations. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory

Any Degree

Experience:

Minimum 2 years in purchasing, preferably in appliance, electronics, or retail industry. Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Knowledge of appliance brands, models, and technical specifications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
