Role - Manager - Purchase & Sourcing

Qualification - B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Industrial Engineering

Experience - 8 To 12 Years

Preferred industry experience - Motors, pumps, electrical equipment, auto components, or other precision manufacturing.

Package - 10 LPA to 15 LPA

Location - Navi Mumbai MH

Gender preference - Male

Job profile_ Technical skills required

Raw materials: CR/HR/GI sheets, copper wire, aluminum castings, magnets.

. Bought-out parts: bearings, shafts, fasteners, insulation, housings.

Processes: plating, anodizing, powder coating, machining, winding.

Procurement -Identification, Selection, Evaluation and Re-Evaluation of Suppliers

Build and maintain a qualified supplier base for critical categories such as motors, gearboxes, controllers, sheet metal, machined parts, and electronic components. Evaluate suppliers based on capacity, certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001), technical capability, cost structure, and financial stability. Regularly re-evaluate existing suppliers against performance benchmarks and replace/upgrade vendors if necessary. Maintain a supplier scorecard system for easy comparison.

Procurement- Supplier Audit & Compliance

Conduct periodic audits covering manufacturing capability, process stability, quality management, safety standards, and statutory compliance. Develop an annual audit plan with timelines and clear audit checklists. Ensure compliance with RoHS/REACH, BIS standards, and industry-specific requirements for electromechanical products. Follow-up on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) from audits.
