Job Description

Experience - 10 to 15 years preferably in a Waste Water Industry or Engineering industry.

Walkin date : 13 to 15 jan 2026.

.Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Planning:Coordinate with the Project and Engineering teams to understand project requirements and create procurement plans accordingly.Assist in developing budgets and procurement timelines for ongoing and upcoming projects.

2. Vendor Management:Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors.Maintain and update an approved vendor list.Build and maintain relationships with reliable vendors to ensure quality and delivery commitments.

3.Quotation & Negotiation:Invite quotations and conduct comparative analysis (commercial & technical).Negotiate price, delivery terms, and payment conditions to obtain the best value.

4.Purchase Order Management:Raise and manage purchase orders.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

5. Logistics & Delivery Coordination:Follow up on delivery schedules and ensure timely availability of materials at the project site.Coordinate with suppliers and internal logistics teams for smooth material flow.

6.Documentation & Reporting:Maintain accurate records of purchases, quotations, supplier communications, and delivery schedules.Prepare procurement reports for internal review and audits.

7.Compliance & Quality Assurance:Ensure procured materials conform to required specifications and quality standards.Coordinate with the Quality Control department for inspection and approvals.8.Cost Control & Budgeting:Work within defined budgets and seek cost-saving opportunities.Report deviations and recommend corrective measures.

Education:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Commerce / Business Administration (MBA in Supply Chain or related field preferred)
