Manager - Public Relations
Job Role: Media and public relations professional responsible for assisting in developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating communications strategy to support the
communication objectives and maximize positive exposure in local, national, and international
markets.
Role & Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective PR strategies, both traditional & new-age
Establish and maintain relationships with influential individuals in digital media--journalists, influencers, bloggers, etc.
Creating a Brand PR strategy
Articulating Brand PR goals
Crafting communication strategy
Crafting Content Strategy
Creating New Age PR opportunities for Brands. Creating and sending pitches to site owners, journalists, editors, etc. to get press coverage• Work closely with the BD team to develop leads and work on pitches
Develop and maintain our media contact database and create relevant contact lists for our campaigns
Identify the right influencers to work with on our campaigns, negotiate payments, and assess the quality of content they create
Gather PR campaign performance data and use these insights to create more effective future outreach plans
Strong writing skills to draft press releases and responses to media query
Work with our copy and design teams to create compelling content and media kits for the campaigns
Secure interviews with publications and organize business profiling
Work with different teams to ensure a match with the corporate brand communication & other PR efforts
Stay up to date with PR & communication industry trends and best practices.
Preferred work areas required: -• Organize and manage various Brand PR strategies for the product, brand, and leader of the company in line with the yearly/monthly PR calendar
• Ability to articulate Brand PR goals to think out of the box with traditional and new-age PR strategies with different media
• Crafting end-to-end Communication and Content Strategy for product launches, media seeding activities, campaign launches
• Creating New Age PR opportunities for Brands
• Ability to handle crisis
Qualification -
BA in Journalism and Mass Communication or MA in Journalism and Mass Communication or PG
Diploma in Public Relations.
Experience - 5+ years
Preferred - Agency / Journalistic background
