To plan, execute, and deliver industrial panel board projects (such as PCC, MCC, APFC, Control Panels, PLC Panels, etc.) on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The Project Manager will coordinate between design, production, procurement, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
Prepare detailed project schedules, resource allocation, and milestones.
Review technical specifications and ensure design compliance with client requirements.
Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to meet timelines.
Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Client Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during all project phases.
Conduct project review meetings and ensure client satisfaction.
Manage technical approvals, drawings, and documentation.
Procurement & Vendor Management
Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of materials and components.
Evaluate and manage vendor performance for outsourced fabrication or assembly work.
Cost & Budget Management
Track project costs and ensure adherence to budget.
Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure all panels meet relevant IEC/IS standards and internal quality processes.
Conduct inspections, FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests), and site coordination as needed.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor project engineers and supervisors.
Promote teamwork and effective communication across departments.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Experience:
5-10 years of experience in project management for industrial electrical panel boards or switchgear manufacturing
Certifications (Preferred):
PMP / PRINCE2 / equivalent project management training
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of industrial panel board design, manufacturing, and testing
Excellent project planning and coordination skills
Proficient in MS Project / Primavera and MS Office tools
Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities
Understanding of electrical codes and standards (IEC, IS, etc.)
