Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Manager - Projects (Operations)

to lead and manage our project cargo operations, including bulk, breakbulk, and OOG (Out-of-Gauge) cargo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and operations within the freight forwarding or logistics industry and a proven track record of delivering complex projects efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end operations for project cargo, bulk, breakbulk, and OOG shipments.

Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize project operations and maximize profitability.

Monitor project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics, ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs.

Lead and mentor a team of operations and sales professionals to achieve operational excellence.

Identify business development opportunities in the project cargo segment and contribute to sales growth.

Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for senior management on project performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. 7+ years of experience in sales and operations, specifically in projects, bulk, breakbulk, and OOG cargo. Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, shipping lines, and cargo handling procedures. Excellent client relationship and negotiation skills. Proven leadership and team management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Growth and professional development opportunities.
