This is a Full time contractual Role.

Pu

rpose :

Align with overall objective of Services & Solutions business to meet long & short-term objectives for the division by understanding existing and future needs of the customers. Develop and implement Construction & Project Management capabilities for Nest-In offerings and ensure SLA with customers in terms of Safety, Quality, Cost and most importantly Timeliness.

Responsibilities

:

Construction Safety

-


1. Implement TATA Steel Safety Standards in Nest-In Projects



2. Conduct Safety Line walk, Safety audits and ensure zero harm at site in line with the overall objective of the organization.



3. Implementation of SOPs, implementation of Safety Standards during project execution, Ensuring compliance to mass meetings and mock drills.


4. Plan for corrective and preventive measures to ensure that all the sites are accidents free



5. Imparting training to Solution Partner on construction safety and ensure its compliance across all sites.

Development of Construction & Project management Processes

a) Study the project scope through project brief and study the detail scope of work.



b) Anchoring on-site construction activities as per given drawings to ensure project completion with time & cost parameters.


c) Review & approve the contractors billing.



d) Implement Project management and control processes at Solution Partners



e) Impart training to the ecosystem of partners, territory project managers & site engineers.

Ensure

Time & cost adherence with no deviation

1. Preparation of Project Schedule for all projects in the region



2. Guide field project managers to prepare project schedules for all projects



3. Stringent Monitoring of on filed and PM related activities



Track activities and report delay statement, request for time extension of order

Sourcing & Supply of resources for project

1. Ensure planning for supply of steel & non-steel material for upcoming projects



2. Ensure timely Manufacturing & supply of Steel & non-steel Component



Develop pool of Sub-Contractors/ Installers in the region and set up mechanism for Project Execution.

Ensure Quality Assurance as per QAP

1. Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) for projects in the region



2. Conduct Frequent Quality Audits at sites during and post execution


Implement Quality Standards (Ex ISO 9001, ISO 14000 etc.)

Skills

B.E / B-Tech (Any Discipline) from recognised university


Civil / Structural Engineering & MBA (NICMAR) is preferable
