An Planning Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective planning within a company's projects. This individual must possess strong leadership qualities, technical expertise in electrical systems, and the ability to manage resources effectively to achieve project goals within specified timelines and budgets.
At FPA, we are seeking and experienced Planning Manager who is responsible for coordinating, planning, and overseeing all electrical aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, safety standards, and project specifications. Lead a team of engineers, technicians and coordinate with the procurement team to develop comprehensive plans and strategies for electrical systems. Work closely with the Managing Partner to strategic and build best practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning and Strategy Development:
Develop comprehensive electrical plans and strategies for projects, considering project requirements, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Technical Expertise:
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, offering solutions to complex electrical problems and ensuring the use of best practices and emerging technologies.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation of electrical plans, progress reports, and project milestones. Prepare regular reports for stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of engineers, and technicians, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring effective teamwork and collaboration.
Resource Allocation:
Coordinate the allocation of resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, required for electrical planning and implementation.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
Manage and optimize project budgets for all components, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality and safety.
Manage budgets and forecasts, Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
Identify potential risks in electrical planning and implement mitigation strategies to prevent project delays or cost overruns.
Project Coordination:
Collaborate with other departments (such as QRD, Procurement, and Accounts to integrate plans effectively within overall project plans.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, regulations, and safety protocols in all electrical planning activities.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience 3-5 in planning, project management, or a similar role.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
