GroupM is looking for Manager - Programmatic to join the Programmatic Trading team (PBU). The location varies for each role, between Gurgaon, Mumbai or Bangalore and will be confirmed by the hiring team. GMS PBU (Programmatic Buying Unit) is the Programmatic Center of Excellence unit of GroupM, the world\'s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for an Manager -Programmatic to join us. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop our programmatic capabilities for a set of accounts. As part of the largest media agency in India, you\'ll have the opportunity to leverage the scale that comes with the job, to develop products that suit the entire programmatic spectrum. Description Reporting of the role This role reports to the Programmatic Account lead (Director/Sr Director), GMS INDIA. 3 best things about the job: 1. You will play a part in transforming agency\'s programmatic media buying from \'manual\' to data- and technology driven buying, generating higher ROI for clients and higher revenue/margin. 3. You will be charged with driving that for the largest media agency in India working across all the publishers, vendors and tech partners creating disruption to \'conventional\' way of media buying. Measures of success - In three months: Ingrain an in depth understanding of the India programmatic landscape, be trained on the various GMS PBU internal platforms and tools and have a good understanding of how GMS PBU solution operates. Incorporate and learn other aspects of the GMS PBU business including campaign strategy, account leadership on the programmatic piece, end-to-end campaign management and comprehensive reporting. Develop relationships and earn trust with your own team and key stakeholders. In six months: Mentor, guide and lead your team from both a day-to-day aspect as well as from a talent development perspective. Develop and identify gaps/processes/tools to improve campaign performance and efficiency for the team. Work with/as the Programmatic Account lead to grow understanding of the capabilities of the channel while providing trading expertise for outcome centric planning and execution. Be accountable for all campaign delivery and performance metrics for the team\'s accounts and act as an escalation point for the team and clients. Ensure campaign execution and success, developing new efficiencies where needed and promoting best practices. Attend and manage ongoing client meetings presenting campaign statuses, solving issues, making optimization recommendations, and implementing new trainings where required. In twelve months: Grow your team\'s account management and trading skills. Identify gaps and opportunities areas for your local markets and support them to maintain their edge and always stay ahead in the programmatic space within their local markets. Work closely with Head of Programmatic to create best practices and processes, ensure proper transition, and execution of campaigns. Manage expectations of Agencies business teams for level of service & SLA committed. Improve programmatic Maturity of the account(s) you will be working on. Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams through excellent communication and related understanding of business needs. End to End Team management (Capacity, staffing, learning & development, and growth). What you will need: Bachelor\'s degree. 2-4 years of Programmatic experience in an Agency (preferably) or overall, in the field of programmatic media buying with hands on Programmatic campaign optimization and account management experience. Hands on experience of working on any of the top 3 DSPs in India Market (DV360 preferred). Deep understanding of DSPs, RTB, Ad Exchanges, DMPs, Audience Targeting, Data Strategy. Understanding of CM360 will be an added advantage but not mandatory. Experience in campaign implementation, optimization and reporting, experience with response driven/demand generation campaigns - Understanding of performance-oriented campaign management will be preferred. Above par understanding of the programmatic and ad tech ecosystem including ad tagging and site analytics. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment - harvest vast amounts of information, news, data, and research and distill the most important/relevant information for your agency team and their clients.
