Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and control production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
Supervise production teams, allocate manpower, and monitor performance and efficiency.
Coordinate with Planning, Maintenance, Quality, and Stores departments for smooth operations.
Implement cost control measures and minimize wastage across all processes.
Participate in
product costing
, analyzing production cost, wastage, and process efficiency.
Drive
team development
by training and motivating staff to achieve performance goals.
Engage in
new unit sourcing
DOMESTICand vendor development -- evaluate production capacity, cost, and quality feasibility.
Maintain strong
domestic market knowledge
to align production capacity and quality with current industry demand and customer expectations.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory standards.
Monitor and analyse production data to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
Coordinate with HR for manpower planning, attendance, and discipline management.
In-depth knowledge of textile production processes and domestic market standards.
Strong analytical, planning, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage cost, quality, and delivery targets effectively.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office / ERP systems.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and quality control system
Qualification :
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Textile Technology, Production, or related field.
Minimum
10-15 years
of experience in textile or garment manufacturing (knitting, dyeing, processing, or finishing).
Proven experience in production planning, costing, and process optimization.
Exposure to domestic market trends and production requirements preferred.
Experience in team leadership and multi-unit production coordination.
