Job Title : Manager Production - Precious Metal Process Catalysts
Reporting to : Sr. Manager Production - Precious Metal Process Catalysts
Entity : Evonik Catalysts India Pvt. Ltd
Work Location : Dombivli
Purpose of the Position :
Responsible for entire Precious metal process catalysts production activities.
Key Responsibilities:Responsible for entire operation like all metal recovery, PMC Chemicals.
Production planning to meet the required schedule.
Meet all the requirement of QC during manufacture of catalyst thereby target zero complain.
Minimize the loss of Precious metals in operations.
Co-ordinate with marketing team.
Supervise the cleanliness of the plant.
To prepare Log Sheet for all Operation.
Maintain all phases of production activities as per ISO standards.
To adhere to Operation Manual.
To make optimum use of available manpower.
Ensure MPCB norms are followed while discharging pollutant.
To train Production Chemist in plant operation.
To work as a team and share inputs to deliver better results.
To work for water and energy conservation.
Target maximum production with minimum loss.
To look into reducing manpower by suggesting new method of operation including automation.
To minimize overtime.
Target minimum reprocessing.
To adhere and monitor that all required safety standards are followed in plant as per process requirement.
Participate in hazard identification and risk assessment.
Ensure plant pollution equipment are operational and emissions are as per prescribed standards.
Identify training requirement and coordinate with ESH function/impart training.
EMI reporting & closure of action on time.
Participate and encourage participation in various ESH activities such as training, hazard identification, plant round etc.
Prepare & discuss lesson learned documents with workforce post incidents.
Carry periodic plant inspection to ensure adherence to ESH rules and regulations.
Ensure Management of Change Procedure followed for required changes in the plant.
Lead team in case of onsite emergencies in the area of working.
Education, Certification, and Relevant Experience RequiredBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in operating production activities within a chemical plant.
Proven expertise in shopfloor leadership.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a similar product line.
Additional Skills and Abilities Required for this PositionStrong technical expertise.
Solid analytical skills.
Good communication & analytical skills.
Experience in effective manpower handling and team management.
