JOB DESCRIPTION - MANAGER (PRODUCTION & PLANNING)

Experience: Minimum 7 years (Glove industry preferred)

Language: Tamil & English (Mandatory), Hindi (Added advantage)

Preference: South Tamil Nadu candidates; Engineering background

ROLE OVERVIEW

Full responsibility for end-to-end production + planning. Covers complete glove manufacturing: grinding ? compounding ? dipping ? in-process QC ? valeting ? sealing ? stamping ? sterilization ? packing ? FG dispatch. Ensures continuous production, material availability, and on-time customer dispatch.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Management

Oversee grinding and compounding operations with correct formulations. Monitor dipping line parameters: line speed, oven temperature, TSC/TSI, defects, productivity. Ensure in-process QC and coordination with QA/QC teams. Manage post-production operations: valeting, sealing, stamping, counting, packing, sterilization. Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
Planning & Raw Material Control

Handle complete SNOP: analyse past 6 months' sales, demand patterns, and consumption. Calculate ROL (Reorder Level), safety stock, cycle stock for all raw materials and chemicals. Plan and forecast packing materials based on production and dispatch schedules. Coordinate with Stores & Purchase for uninterrupted availability of chemicals, latex, packaging, and consumables. Track stock levels and avoid material shortages or excess inventory.
Co-ordination & Manpower Planning

Prepare daily manpower allocation for production and post-production. Coordinate with HR for shift requirements and absentee management. Ensure smooth FG flow from production ? post-production ? QC ? dispatch. Close coordination with Sales team for delivering dispatch commitments.
Quality & Continuous Improvement

Apply Pareto Analysis, ABC Analysis, QC Tools for problem solving. Implement Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, waste reduction). Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety guidelines, and audit requirements. Daily monitoring of defects, rejections, A/B/C grade ratios, and CAPA.
MANDATORY SKILLS

Strong planning & analytical skills. Knowledge of glove manufacturing processes (latex/nitrile). Understanding of SNOP, ROL, inventory concepts. Proficiency in QC tools & production analytics. Excellent team management & coordination capability. Tamil & English fluency (Hindi added advantage).
PREFERRED PROFILE

Minimum 7+ years in production/planning (glove industry highly preferred). Engineering qualification preferred (Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial). Candidates from South Tamil Nadu are highly desirable. Should be able to handle both production + planning independently.
