Job Description

A) Responsibility
1) Management of Raw Material and Components xe2x80x93 including stocks, shortages, re ordering
frequencies.
2) In-house xe2x80x93
Receipt of PO from the marketing department, receipt of Drawings and BOM from the
Design department, Generation of Material requisition for the Purchase department and
Work Orders for the production shop.
Generation of Production orders for the components starting with Bar cutting, machining g,
heat treatment, grinding, welding sub-assemblies, inspection scheduling, Final assembly,
Testing, Packing, Third party inspection, Despatch activities.
Monitoring of Output at individual work station and as a Production group xe2x80x93 analysing the
gaps, finding out the reasons and remedies for the shortfall.
Ensuring timely delivery to the end customer with Target of xe2x80x9cZero Penaltyxe2x80x9d due to delays in
delivery.
3) Should be able to co xe2x80x93 ordinate and liaise with the concerned departments like xe2x80x93 Bar and
plate cutting, CNC and VMC shops, Conventional machine shop, Heat Treatment shop,
Welding shop, Grinding shop, Final assembly and Testing shop, packing activity, Inspoection,
Purchase, Finance and accounting,
4) Systematic Analysis of the available shop capacity, required capacity by way of order intake,
means of generation of additional capacity.
5) Support the Management in timely communication with the end customer about the status
of orders.
6) Provide the correct status of each Customer Order, at any given time to the Management.
7) Co-ordinate with the customer and Production regarding Third Party Inspection agencies and
their visits and the outcomes till the despatch happens.
8) Must be a Good Team Member, should carry the team along with harmony
B) Knowledge xe2x80x93 required
1) Production shop scheduling
2) Technical knowledge about the CNC and VMC machines and Various manufacturing
processes, Welding and the related manufacturing defects
B) Qualification xe2x80x93 Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10 to 15 years of
experience in similar field. Computer Friendly.
C) Age xe2x80x93 around 40 Years
D) Languages xe2x80x93 Command over written and verbal communication skills in Hindi, English.
E) Salary Range (50000-65000)
