Purpose of the Job

:



Lead the specification development activities in TBR/LTR for all NPD & product


performance iterations and review the trial output against DVP. Drive future cost


saving projects while following up yearly VAVE trials to ensure adherence and also to


support other stakeholders in R&D for conducting experiments in plants to meet


customer and organizational requirements, while ensuring full compliance with IATF


16949 and APDP standards.

Major Responsibilities

:

1. Review and authorization of manufacturing specification & tyre engineering calculations


2. Lead Future VAVE projects and coordinate the yearly VAVE activities.


3. Review of various TRF initiated from PD team for various options currently available and spec finalization basis review.


4. Review of all proto iterations along with plant PI teams


5. Specification development for Technology projects & review with stakeholders


6. Lead and conduct standardization projects for complexity reduction along with plant PI


7. Review & approval of specifications intended for product improvement projects


8. Support project implementation for various digitalization projects.


9. Propose new wire styles based on BM data in discussion with PD team.
