Job Title: Manager - PPC (Production Planning & Control) - Fasteners
Location: Ludhiana
Salary: ₹60,000 to ?70,000 per month
Qualification:
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
10 to 15 years of experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC), preferably in the Fasteners / Automotive Components Industry.

We are seeking an experienced Manager - PPC to oversee and manage the Production Planning & Control function for our fasteners manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for aligning production schedules with customer demand, optimizing resources, ensuring timely deliveries, and driving efficiency across the shop floor. The role requires strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills to ensure smooth coordination between production, purchase, sales, and quality departments.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer requirements and delivery timelines.
Monitor daily production activities, track progress against plan, and take corrective actions for deviations.
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials to achieve cost-effective operations.
Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, and Logistics to ensure material availability and smooth workflow.
Maintain inventory control and ensure minimum stock-outs while reducing excess inventory.
Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily production reports, ensuring data accuracy for management review.
Lead PPC tea and drive continuous improvement in productivity and efficiency.
Work closely withSales & Marketing teams for forecasting and demand planning.
Implement Lean Manfacturing, 5S, and ERP/MRP systems for better process control.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and timely completion of customer orders.

Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of Fasteners manufacturing processes (old/Hot Forging, Heat Treatment, Surface Coating, Machining, etc.).
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Analytical thinking with problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
