Job summary

The Manager - Plant & Machinery will be responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and operational efficiency of all plant and machinery within the company's construction sites. The role requires extensive experience in mechanical engineering and the ability to manage resources effectively to support project timelines and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Management

: Develop and implement maintenance schedules for plant and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Equipment Procurement

: Oversee the procurement process for new machinery, ensuring that all acquisitions meet project specifications and budget constraints.

Operational Oversight

: Supervise the day-to-day operations of plant and machinery on site, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational protocols.

Resource Allocation

: Efficiently allocate machinery resources across multiple project sites to ensure timely project completion.

Personnel Management

: Lead and mentor a team of machinery operators and maintenance staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety regulations.

Software Proficiency

: Primavera P6
Key Requirements

Experience

: 3-8 years of experience in managing plant and machinery within the real estate or construction industry.

Education

: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant degree in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with advanced machinery management software Additional certifications in machinery maintenance or safety compliance
