Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the electrical and electronics maintenance functions of the plant, ensuring high equipment reliability, minimal downtime, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Management:

+ Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical and electronic systems.
+ Ensure timely resolution of breakdowns to minimize production loss.

System Reliability & Uptime:

+ Monitor and improve the reliability of electrical systems, drives, motors, and control panels.
+ Analyze root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.

Team Leadership:

+ Lead a team of electrical and electronics maintenance engineers and technicians.
+ Conduct training and skill development programs to enhance team capabilities.

Automation & Control Systems:

+ Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and other automation components.
+ Support process automation and control system upgrades.

Energy Efficiency:

+ Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
+ Ensure optimal operation of power distribution systems.

Compliance & Safety:

+ Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
+ Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical installations.

Documentation & Reporting:

+ Maintain maintenance logs, equipment history, and compliance records.
+ Prepare reports on maintenance KPIs, downtime analysis, and improvement plans.
