Petrochemicals: Adani Group is making significant strides in the petrochemical landscape with the establishment of its inaugural petrochemical complex, named Green PVC. This initiative aligns with our broader strategy in the petrochemicals, oil & gas, and downstream sectors.The Petrochemicals Business Unit is spearheading the Green PVC project, which entails a substantial investment of INR 26,000 crore. This investment is focused on integrating the acetylene route to facilitate sustainable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing. Currently in the execution phase, the project is on track to deliver its first product by June 2026.
Job Purpose: The Project Planning Lead focuses on developing and managing detailed execution schedules for EPC, commissioning, and operations. This role emphasizes creating comprehensive plans, monitoring project progress, and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. The Planning Lead acts as the primary liaison with stakeholders, oversees accurate documentation, and leads the team to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning Lead-PETCHEM
Project Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and manage detailed execution schedules for EPC, commissioning, and operations using PRIMA VERA and Excel.
Create comprehensive plans for manpower, costs, and plant machinery, focusing on resource allocation and efficiency.
Manage master and detailed schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and tracking adherence to timelines.
Monitoring and Control:
Monitor project execution, identify issues, and escalate them for corrective actions.
Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review project progress and address concerns.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks in project planning and scheduling, developing and integrating mitigation strategies.
Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle and implement measures to minimize disruptions.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate project planning documentation, including progress reports and change orders.
Prepare presentations and updates for project steering committees and management reviews.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact for planning-related matters with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure effective project execution.
Team Management:
Oversee team performance to ensure project success, maintaining high standards in coordination and technical execution.
Lead training and development initiatives to enhance team skills and ensure alignment with project goals and industry standards.

Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
B. Tech / B.E in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from a reputed institute/university.
A master's degree in the same field is preferred.
Work Experience (Range of years):
15-20 years of work experience with at least 5 years in a similar role within a large-sized organization.
Hands-on experience with project planning and scheduling.
Experience in managing engineering projects within the petrochemical industry.
Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
