Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Work-out of Should Be Cost/ Zero Based Cost of Trim Components - Exterior Trim, Interior Trim, Cockpit/ Instrument Panel Assembly, Soft Trims, Plastic Fuel Tank and DEF Tank, NVH Acoustics for all Platforms and Projects as per Standard norms and Guidelines. Ensure Adherence to Submission Dates.


2. Should be Agile in making Macro Level (Top Down) and Comprehensive (Bottom Up) Business Case Estimations for New Platforms from Concept Stages.

Undertake CMF Impact Estimations, Cost Saving Estimations for Prompt Decision making by CFT.


3. Should be able to build an Ecosystem in Commodity for tracking and updating RMs, its prices Process Norms, its rates in Commodity Master. Should be able to guide Product Cost Engineers on using Technical know-how for Cost Assumption.


4. Should be aware of Polymer Materials and Processes for upfront Cost Optmisation Suggestions to Engineering and Development Teams


5. Study & Analyse of SOR/ Drawings, BOM, Process Assumptions, Mold Specifications for components.

General Experience

9 to 14 yrs experience in Product Costing, RFQ Management. Product Development Experience will be an added Skill Set
