Job Description


Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Maintaining optimum inventory level in warehouse as per standards to dispatch the vehicle on FIFO basis
  • Vehicles shifting from plant to yard
  • Pre-outbound damages
  • Vehicle IN / OUT
  • Trailer productivity / day
  • Overall BBND performance and management.
  • Tracking of trucks in order to achieve on time delivery targets & encouraging transporters for GPS
  • Vehicle quality at plant during handover from production
  • Route optimization and distance calculation for new locations
  • Vehicle quality during handover to transporter.
  • Transit time performance.
  • Ensure availability of vehicles for billing from manufacturing plant
  • Ensure overall quality of vehicles received at handover.
  • Will be responsible for the logistics cost optimization from the respective location.
  • Overall timely dispatch of vehicles after billing.
  • Ensure trailer availability
  • Overall transit quality
  • Space / yard management.
  • Overall trailer quality
  • Additional freight cost reduction.
  • Train dispatches & cost savings through train mode in comparison to trailer.
  • Secondary transportation from RSO to dealer in case of train mode dispatches.

MBA; Post Graduate Dip in Mgmt; MBA in Supply Chain Management; Post Graduate Dip in Mgmt in Supply Chain Management
General Experience
4-5 years experience in Outbound Logistics operations in any leading Automotive industry.

Warehouse management, Fleet management, Dispatch Planning, Consignment Tracking
