Operations Manager - Real Estate & HospitalityOverview
The Operations Manager oversees day-to-day activities across real estate assets and hospitality properties to ensure operational efficiency, financial performance, excellent guest experience, and regulatory compliance. This role works closely with property management, facility teams, vendors, and senior leadership to optimize operations and maintain high service standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management
Oversee daily operations of residential, commercial, and hospitality properties.
Ensure smooth functioning of front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Implement SOPs, quality controls, and performance metrics across properties.
Monitor occupancy rates, guest satisfaction scores, and operational KPIs.
Facilities & Asset Management
Supervise maintenance, housekeeping, security, and engineering teams.
Ensure timely repairs, preventive maintenance, and property upkeep.
Conduct property inspections and track asset longevity.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers.
Financial & Budget Management
Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and operating plans.
Monitor revenue, expenses, and cost-control initiatives.
Approve procurement requests and negotiate vendor contracts.
Support rental pricing strategies and revenue-management efforts.
Guest & Client Experience
Ensure high service standards and positive guest interactions.
Address escalated guest or tenant issues promptly and professionally.
Lead initiatives to improve satisfaction scores and repeat business.
Regulatory & Compliance
Ensure compliance with local real-estate, hospitality, health, and safety regulations.
Maintain required certifications, permits, and safety protocols.
Implement risk-management policies and fire-life-safety procedures.
Team Leadership
Manage, train, and motivate on-site operations staff.
Create staffing schedules, role assignments, and performance evaluations.
Foster a culture of service excellence and accountability.
Strategic Projects
Support property renovation, expansion, and capital improvement projects.
Implement digital transformation initiatives (PMS, facility-management systems, CRM).
Analyze operational data to recommend continuous improvements.
Required Qualifications
Mba or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field.
5-10+ years of operational management experience in real estate, hotels, resorts, or mixed-use properties.
Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and P&L oversight.
Knowledge of property-management systems and hospitality technologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or industry certifications (e.g., RPA, CPM, CHA).
Experience managing multi-site operations.
Familiarity with sustainability practices and smart-building technologies.
