To lead and manage the end-to-end operations of the pharmaceutical fulfillment warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy, timely order fulfillment, regulatory compliance, and overall operational excellence.
2. Key Responsibilities :
Manage daily warehouse processes including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
Ensure execution of fulfillment operations as per SOPs and pharma guidelines.
Plan and optimize workflow to achieve maximum productivity.
Ensure smooth inbound and outbound operations.
B. Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory and ensure timely replenishment.
Implement FEFO/FIFO practices and batch/lot traceability.
Conduct stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation of inventory variances.
Maintain documentation for audit and compliance.
C. Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with
GMP, GDP, and pharma regulatory standards
.
Monitor temperature-controlled zones (cold chain storage).
Conduct quality checks during material receiving and dispatch.
Handle deviations, incidents, and implement CAPA actions.
Maintain hygiene, 5S, and quality standards inside the warehouse.
D. Order Fulfillment
Ensure timely and accurate execution of customer orders.
Monitor OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) performance and improve service levels.
Coordinate with transporters, sales teams, and customer service teams.
Manage priority orders and ensure smooth dispatch schedules.
E. Team Leadership & Training
Supervise and guide warehouse staff, supervisors, and associates.
Conduct training sessions on SOPs, safety, and quality standards.
Monitor team performance and ensure effective shift planning.
F. Safety, Security & Maintenance
Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols.
Ensure proper handling of hazardous and sensitive pharma materials.
Maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts, scanners, and temperature devices.
G. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports.
Generate MIS reports (inventory accuracy, dispatch performance, OTIF, wastage).
Maintain all documents for regulatory and internal audits.
H. System & Technology Management
Ensure proper use of WMS, ERP, and scanning tools.
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with IT for solutions.
I. Process Improvement
Identify gaps and implement process improvements.
Optimize costs, increase operational efficiency, and reduce wastage.
Implement lean practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills
Strong knowledge of

4. Qualifications
Graduation in any discipline (Science/Pharmacy preferred).
MBA in Operations/Supply Chain (added advantage).
